Intriguing! Nowhere does it say so, except perhaps subliminally, but Terri and I both pick up a very nice aquatic vibe from The Dutchman. Her words right away, once I had it in beard, were "WOW! You don't have anything that smells like this!". It goes in so cool and refreshing, but soon warms, even on the skin. The oakwood is such a solid backdrop for profile notes so well blended that they (to me, at least) are indiscernible on their own; they have become a part of Haden DeSpain's mysterious and wonderful concoction! Another great oil from The Acreage - Iowa.
The scent is fantastic and product is on point as always!
The Dutchman is absolute 🔥🔥🔥 Has a crisp citrus bitters up front, reminiscent of the citrus twist of an Old Fashioned but made with a secret stash of top-notch dark rum, enjoyed while smoking a fine cigar on the deck of a pirate ship. A super masculine cologne good for any day and any time. Certainly don’t want to miss the rest of the series!
