A Short History: 

The Rosies were an incredible group of women (Part of 350,000 women) who stepped up during World War II. The population of men was dwindling as they were needed in the war so the women left their homes and filled those jobs, One of the most famous became known as the rosies whose jobs were to work on munitions and war supplies. They spent most of their time riveting these machines hence their simpolic name "Rosie the riveter". They are well known for single handedly keeping the work force strong enough to keep the men supplied enough for the war efforts to continue but n their words, "We just did what we had to do to get our men home".
